George R. Talarico is an attorney who serves as General Counsel and Director at Alaric. In addition to serving as Alaric’s General Counsel, Mr. Talarico leads Alaric’s banking and credit union regulatory compliance practice. He brings over thirty years of legal experience to these roles.
Mr. Talarico began his legal career as an associate at Cahill Gordan & Reindel. Later, he was a partner at Thacher Proffitt & Wood as well as Edward Angell Palmer & Dodge (which through merger became Locke Lord) where he served as managing partner of the firm’s New Jersey offices. He has represented defendants in commercial litigation including toxic torts, products liability, and, banking including Fortune 500 corporations as well as smaller corporations, privately held companies and national as well as community banks.
Mr. Talarico received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review. He earned an M.S degree in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University. He is admitted to practice law in the: states of New York and New Jersey; Southern District of New York; Eastern District of New York; District of New Jersey; and, Federal Court of Claims.
