Claudia Ranieri is an attorney and Director at Alaric with ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Ms. Ranieri has been with Alaric for six years and has worked in the establishment of compliance programs for hedge fund, private equity, BDC, investment adviser, and investment company clients, ranging in size from small to approximately $10 billion in Assets Under Management. She has experience with both the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Additionally, she has specialized in NFA/CFTC compliance for those clients registered with the National Futures Association. While at Alaric, she has undergone both SEC and NFA Examinations.
Prior to joining Alaric, Ms. Ranieri was an Associate in the Investment Management Group at Schulte Roth & Zabel, where she assisted in drafting Offering Memoranda and making required SEC filings for clients, such as 13f and 13g filings. Prior to Schulte Roth & Zabel, she interned for the Honorable Loretta A. Preska in the Southern District of New York, where she assisted in the drafting of Memoranda and Opinions. For three years she worked at Clay Finlay, Inc., an Investment Management Firm, as an Intern in the Client Services Department.
Ms. Ranieri received her J.D from Columbia Law School and her B.A. magna cum laude in Economics from New York University. She is currently admitted to practice law in New York.
