COMPLIANCE WATCH: Family Ties May Taint Compliance Officer

Guy F. Talarico, CEO of Alaric Compliance Services LLC, was quoted in an article about the key role compliance officers play, especially now in the post-Enron, post-Worldcom, post-Madoff world. Shouldering the responsibilities of chief compliance officer ("CCO") while remaining independent and free from influence are critical to the success of the compliance mandate.
